Exotic Marble & Granite uses, recommends, and trusts the
Miracle Sealants product line for the sealing, cleaning,
and maintenance of natural stone surfaces. Every stone
product that leaves our warehouse is sealed with either
the 511 Impregnator or Porous Plus from Miracle
Sealants.
If you opt not to use Miracle Sealants products on your
granite counter tops, you may try a very mild solution
of Ivory dish soap and water. But note that if too much
soap is mixed in the water, there will be a white haze
when it dries. If other types of cleaners and chemicals
are used, they may shorten the life of the sealant and
reduce the shine. Also, on your granite surfaces you can
use a razor blade to scrape off dried substances and a
very fine steel wool to remove surface residue build up.
You may use the same Ivory soap solution on marble, but
you must take more care in what is placed and spilled on
it because it is a softer, more porous stone. Knives and
sharp objects WILL scratch marble, and the surface is
very sensitive to acid etching from juices, alcohol, and
cleaners. These types of marks (dull spots) can
typically be removed by using Miracle Sealants Water
Ring & Etch Remover. Again, if other types of cleaners
and chemicals are used on your marble surface, they may
shorten the life of the sealant and reduce the shine.
Exotic Marble & Granite stocks many of the Miracle
Sealants products but sometimes our customers purchase
in bulk and we find our reserve depleted for a few days.
So as not to waste your valuable time, please call us
